Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • 250 g heart-shaped pasta
  • Pinch of saffron threads

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Boil the lobster tails for 8-10 minutes. Let them cool, then extract the meat and chop it.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.
  • Add white wine and reduce by half. Stir in heavy cream, mustard, salt, and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the chopped lobster meat to the sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan and paprika.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden.
  • Meanwhile, cook the heart-shaped pasta with saffron until al dente.
  • Serve the lobster Thermidor over the saffron pasta. Garnish with parsley.
