Print Recipe
This recipe is simple, requiring just a few ingredients and a little patience while the panna cotta sets. The infusion of vanilla and a sprinkle of nutmeg add warmth and charm, while whipped cream provides a luxurious finishing touch.

  • Saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Ramekins or dessert glasses
  • Refrigerator

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • Remove from heat, stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved, and add vanilla extract.
  • Divide the mixture evenly among six ramekins or dessert glasses.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  • Before serving, garnish with ground nutmeg and a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
