Eggnog Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
- Dough:
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
- ½ cup warm eggnog 110°F
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 large eggs
- ½ tsp salt
- Filling:
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- Glaze:
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp eggnog
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm eggnog, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, eggs, salt, and 3 cups of flour. Mix until dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes, adding remaining flour as needed, until dough is smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out dough into a 12x18-inch rectangle. Spread softened butter over the surface.
- Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then sprinkle over the butter. Roll tightly and cut into 12 rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased 9x13-inch pan. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, eggnog, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls
