Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Rolling Pin
  • Pastry brush
  • Small bowl for mixing

Ingredients

  • 1 package of pre-made pizza dough or homemade dough
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce for dipping
  • Fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Cut the dough into 24 equal pieces.
  • Place a small pinch of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough piece. Fold the dough over the cheese, pinching the edges to seal and forming a small ball.
  • Arrange the dough balls on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree (one ball at the top, rows increasing in size, and a small trunk at the bottom).
  • Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture over the dough balls.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
